Our Policies

Privacy Policy

What we collect, how we use it, and why it never leaves our business. Last updated: October 2026.

1. Who We Are

Thomas Lawn & Landscaping is a locally owned lawn care and landscaping business serving Paulding, Cobb, and Douglas Counties in Georgia. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and how we keep it safe. By using our website or our services, you agree to this policy.

2. Information We Collect

When you request a free estimate, schedule service, or contact us, we collect the details you give us: your name, phone number, email address, property address, and anything you tell us about your lawn or project.

If you contact us by phone, text, or email, we keep a record of that conversation so we can follow up properly. We may also keep photos of your property taken before and after our work for service records.

We do not collect sensitive information such as payment card numbers through this website.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: provide free estimates and quotes; schedule and perform the services you request; communicate with you by phone, text, or email about your estimate, appointments, and service; invoice and keep business records; and improve the quality of our work.

If you provide your phone number, you give us consent to reach out to you about your free estimate and requested services. You can opt out at any time — reply STOP to texts, or call or email us to change how we contact you.

4. Your Data Is Never Sold

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing. Your details stay within Thomas Lawn & Landscaping — that's a promise, not just a policy.

The only people who see your information are Josh and anyone on our team who needs it to get your work done, plus the service providers that help us operate — for example, the form and messaging tools that deliver your estimate request to us and our phone or email providers. Those providers process information only on our behalf so we can serve you.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it — for example, in response to a valid court order or subpoena — or to protect our rights or safety.

5. How We Protect Your Information

Your information is stored securely within our business systems, and access is limited to the people who need it to serve you. We use reputable, security-conscious providers for our website form, messaging, and record keeping.

No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable administrative and technical steps to protect your personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access.

6. Cookies and Website Analytics

Our website uses standard analytics and advertising tools, including Google Ads, to understand how visitors find us and whether our advertising is working. These tools may use cookies and similar technologies to measure things like page visits and form submissions.

This data is used in aggregate to improve the website and our marketing — it is not sold, and it is not used to build profiles of you for third parties. You can control cookies through your browser settings at any time.

7. How Long We Keep Information

We keep your information only as long as we need it: to provide your services, keep accurate business and tax records, and comply with the law. If you ask us to, or once information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.

8. Your Choices and Rights

You can ask us at any time to: tell you what information we have about you; correct or update it; delete it; or stop contacting you. Just call or email us and we'll take care of it promptly — no forms, no runaround.

Opting out of marketing messages does not stop us from sending service-related communications you need, like appointment confirmations, unless you ask for that too.

9. Children's Privacy

Our website and services are directed to homeowners and businesses, not to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time, and we'll post the current version on this page with its effective date. Significant changes will be noted here.
